Writing and editing for the web: 2

This popular course has been running for a few years at the Publishing Training Centre in London. It follows on from Writing and editing for the web 1.

Subjects covered

  • Home pages
  • Findability and browsability
  • Information design and layout online
  • Calls to action, landing pages and persuasive writing
  • Product pages
  • Forms and error messages

The emphasis of the course is on writing and developing content to meet the needs of your website readers and pursuading your users to buy your products or take some other action you want them to take. Your delegates will receive full notes to accompany each session.

In-house

I also offer this as an in-house course. Previous clients include English Partnerships, IDeA, the EPSRC, Reed Educational and Professional Publishing, Shelter and The Open University.

Customisation

The course can be tailored to meet your needs, and can vary in duration and content depending on your requirements. It could be combined with elements of Writing and editing for the web 1, Web 2.0 or Search engine optimisation.
